Surprise!

Every morning I wake up to the normal chatter,I let him play around and then peek in to see what he is doing. This morning was different. I opened the door to a tiny face staring back at me with a huge smile, as he was grinding his one tooth on the side of his crib! I wasn't aware that he could pull himself up and for that matter stay up! I had flashbacks of the teeth marks on my parents bed:) Later today we will be lowering his crib down so the next time we don't find him on the floor.

My first Car

We have never laughed so hard:) I had this car in a box just sitting in the basement and decided to give it a try! We put it together and set him on it and the fun began. He could only push himself backwards but he was jumping and squealing to the music that was playing... I can't believe how big he is getting! Nothing is safe anymore!

I have all the bugs worked out and now lets continue... Easter



Dayton enjoyed eating ALL of his Easter cards, there is not one with any corners left.








He played with his turtle Easter basket and eggs:) Then it was off to Nana and Papa's







He is sooooo handsome..... and for once it was kinda warm so we played outside on the swing

Dayton's first Easter was wonderful! It was a beautiful day full of family and fun. Unfortunately I am having computer/camera problems, so I can't put any pictures up. He loved (to eat) all the Easter cards and swing on Nana and Papa's swing!

Oh and by the way Dayton's got a tooth!!!!

Gone...swimming!

Today was the first time to the pool for Dayton! Christina, Jacob and Marin went with us for a little Spring(minus the snow)Break fun! We were the only ones there for a while and the water was warm...just like the bath! Dayton enjoyed jumping and splashing while Marin covered her face:) I'm sure Dayton will love the water as much as I do! Next time I wont forget the camera!

PRAY for Stellan

I was visiting one of my favorite family's when I was suddenly surprised to see that Stellan was in the PICU. He has been having some bouts with SVT (Supra Ventricular Tachycardia=very high heart rate) and they are having trouble getting control of it. If you don't know the GREAT story of Stellan I encourage you to visit mycharmingkids and catch up! He is a miracle baby and I know with all of our prayers he can beat this again!!!!

Today marks the fist day of trouble! I can't believe how time flies! Everyone always tells you to love every minute because they grow up so fast, they weren't lying. As for baby proofing the house I don't even want to think about it:)
